HERE IT IS!! THE T-TWISTER’S 3RD ANNUAL CHILI COOK OFF! THIS YEAR WILL BE BIGGER AND BETTER THAN BEFORE! DON’T FORGET TO COME TO WATER VALLEY ON OCTOBER 14-16, BRING YOUR CHILI COOKING INGREDIENTS AND JOIN IN ON THE FUN!

ALL YOU CAN EAT CHILI AND BEANS AT 12:30PM SATURDAY, FOR ONLT $5.00!! PLUS, THE AUCTION THAT EVERYONE CAN BID ON! IT’S ALWAYS A SURPRISE TO SEE WHAT IS ACTUALLY IN THE AUCTION!

DON’T FORGET TO SEE IF THERE ARE ANY EXTRA RAFFEL TICKETS FOR THE $500.00 VISA CARD. THE TICKETS HAVE SOLD FAST, BUT THERE MIGHT BE A FEW LEFT!

AT THE END OF THE GARAGE SALE AUCTION, THE BEST CAKES THIS SIDE OF THE MISSIPPI RIVER WILL BE AUCTIONED!!

ON SATURDAY NIGHT, EVERYONE BRING THEIR CAN OF VEGGIES TO PUT IN THE POT FOR POT LUCK SOUP! REMEMBER, THERE IS NO COST TO THIS MEAL, SO EVERYONE PLAN ON EATING WITH THE T-TWISTERS!!

All T-Twisters need to attend the next general meeting, the first Friday in September. We are going to finish all the plans for the Chili Cook-off and we need your help and input!!! Please be there.

Ms. Gracie is off and running on her latest World adventure, this time to Prauge and surrounding countries. Please, everyone, pray for her to have a wonderful and safe trip, and Grace, we’re looking forward to a full report when you get home!!

I’ve had a super busy summer this year, and with that and going back to work, I completely forgot about our dinner ride on the 20th. I haven’t heard any reports, and with the awful heat we’ve been having, am not sure anyone rode. If anyone did go, give me a report!

And speaking of heat, I am sooo looking forward to going to Ruidoso!! Even if it IS only a couple of days, it’s gonna be so nice! I’m hearing that the burn ban has been lifted for the area, but I suggest that you call and check for yourself on that. I hope so, ‘cause a bonfire is part of what makes camping so special!! Good grief, right now, my porch thermometer is reading 108!!

Happy Birthday wishes go out to Richard B. this month! Richard, I hope it’s a day you will never forget, full of all the good things you deserve.

Sept 23-25 is the 3rd annual biker party in Ft. Stockton. That’s the only info I have on that.

Labor Day is the first weekend in September. Some of us will have a 3 day weekend to enjoy. So, go ahead, ENJOY it!! But remember to play nice and play safe.
