January 2016 Newsletter

Hello everyone, and Happy New Year!!

How did all of you make it through this crazy snow storm we've had?
I received over 7" here at my house, with drifts of 16 and 18 inches. But, we didn't
have the high wind that the areas north did, so we missed the "blizzard", and I'm sure not sorry!
This Fall has been so mild, I guess it's about time we got some winter weather, BUT, that was enough.
Winter can go away now...
January 2nd is our first general meeting of the new year. We have gotten out of the habit of going, because
of the holidays. But the holidays, as wonderful as they were, are over, so lets get back in the groove again.
Remember, 10:00 am for breakfast and 10:30 for the meeting, Casa Lopez in Midland.
It's time to pay the piper! Club dues are due. It's the same price as last year, $20.00 for a family for a year.
We're still the cheapest entertainment going! Give the money to Mario and I will add your name to the 2016 Membership list.
Remember, dues must be paid before your name is added to the list.
If you have any changes that need to be made to the list, (new address or phone number or email address),
PLEASE let me know so I can make the changes! I will have an update sheet at the meeting for changes.
We need to plan out Club camp outs for 2016. If you have any ideas, (maybe someplace new), let us know! Be at the meeting and voice your opinion.
The March Chili cook off is just around the corner. We are needing someone to volunteer to take charge of planning the cook off. I know we are all busy with our lives, but we need to spread the duties around, so no one gets burned out, and we can all enjoy it.

OK, guys, I know this is very short, but there just isn't much going on right now.
