PostSubject: June 9th Benefit for the Family of DQ Robinson - Odessa   Tue May 27, 2008 11:03 pm

A few weeks ago a very popular sports bike rider in Odessa was killed while riding his motorcycle in Odessa. He was on his way to Starbucks from his house and a young woman (who was drunk) turned left in front of him and they collided. His name is Demon "DQ" Robinson.

On June 9th the West Texas Motorcycle group is having a fund raiser to benefit his family (wife and kiddos) in Odessa. The link below will take you to the flyer that is going around promoting the benefit.

I hope you all will participate and help out by going to the benefit and donating some money to help out. All of the details are on the flyer.

I am going to enter my Fatboy in the motorcycle show - the entry fee is only 10.00 bucks and it will be fun to hear what people say when they pass by mine. I have seen a lot of photos or some really cool bikes in the lonestarrider forum. We should turn out and support these folks in a time of need. We are all brothers and sisters in the cyclehood and we need each other for sure!

If you have any questions please let me know and if you think you can make it please let me know that as well.

Lastly, some of you live quite a ways from the Permian Basin - if you would like to help the family you can send a donation to the account that has been set up for them. The account is at Odessa Complex Federal Credit Union in his wifes name, acct# 168769 Leticia Ann Phillips. The address of the Credit Union is: 4900 E 52nd St., Odessa, TX 79762 and their phone number is (432) 550-9126
