Lotto Run

Ok so where was everyone Sat.??????
Well you missed a LOT of fun!!!! Weather was great. Sure missed seeing more people but got to have a Good Visit with Al & Mary.
We all had a blast. Kickstands were up about 1:15 and away we all went to Andrews, to eat at Buddy’s. (Mary STILL love to eat there and I had not ate there in a Long time. ) food was good just had to take a doggie bag and of course the doggies really got it once we got home. After eating to the max, we decided to try some of the desserts listed, and they were excellent. We rode to Kermit, and it is so sad to see so much land absolutely scorched. The beautiful normally white Sandhills were darkened and bleak. The sand has nothing to keep it from blowing, and blow it is going to do, if the wind keeps up and the rain don’t come. It got hot on that stretch of road, and Mike complained that we left the cold front in Andrews!! He wanted to go back and find it. He got voted out, and we went on to Monahans, made a stop at the DQ for ice cream and ice water. After cooling off we headed home. It was a good afternoon, a great ride and, oh yes, Mel got a winning scratch off ticket!! I’ll let her tell how much she won, if she wants to!! Well I am not telling other than to say it sure made the trip worthwhile!!!!! I have combined some of Mary's Account of the Ride with Mine so hope I didn't confuse everyone too much. Kind of Lazy... Mary Hope you don’t mind I used you.
Well you all missed the incredible site of me Jumping Up and Down, hollering over my winnings. I sure got a Lot of funny stares!!! This was the first time Mike had ever bought a lotto ticket at all and I hardly ever do and I don't think Mary does very often just a guess on my part...
